Galleries and studios will welcome visitors on Dec. 7 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with beautiful art, music and refreshments. From blown glass to lovely jewelry, there is a treasure to be found for every budget this year.

From the working studios of The Old Jerome High School to the lovely pottery of Made in Jerome, the true handmade Jerome touch is everywhere. Cody DeLong’s paintings, the Turquoise Spider for Native American jewelry, Jerome Artists’ Cooperative with a kaleidoscope of items, Jerome artisans have it all in one magical mountain town.

The Upper Park will be decorated to the hilt and there will be live music at The Mile High Grill and The Spirit Room.

Free shuttle will transport you throughout the town. Come and enjoy. For more information, visit jeromeartwalk.com or contact Donna Chesler at 928-301-3004.

DeLong is currently creating a new body of work for a show in January called “Shock of the new west.” This show will be at the Tubac center for the arts, in southern Arizona. Visit 300 Hull Ave between the visitors center and spook hall. Also visit CodyDeLong.com for more information.

Buchanan has lived 35 years in Arizona’s Verde Valley where the Southwest landscapes and sunsets inspire unique colors and patterns in her artwork. She mixes textures and color with light to create adornments that enhance a person’s grace, like swinging earrings that allow light to come through the tiny glass beads and gemstones.

Come meet Buchanan as she demonstrates seed beading. For more information, shebeadz@hotmail.com.

Live music from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. by LaToBo, a popular local band featuring ‘60s to ‘80s cover tunes, along with some blues and current favorites.

Also, Jerome baker Lisa Billingsly will provide ginger and shortbread cookies, and LaDonna Smith will provide a variety of fruit and cheese to compliment the wine offerings.
