With 253,000 Arizonans behind on rent, court halts eviction moratorium
The U.S. Supreme Court late Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, overturned a federal moratorium on evictions during the COVID-19 crisis, saying that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention did not have the authority to impose such a rule.
