Verde Heritage: Mary Grace Willard house – 1887

Mary Willard encouraged her children to join her in the Verde Valley. Mary Ellen “Nellie” (Willard) Ricker and her husband, Alfred, claimed neighboring land across the river, where they built a home for their 3 children, farmed, and planted a vineyard.
