1958 - 2021

Our dear friend Luna Patterson passed away August 11th 2021 in Clarkdale Arizona. She was 63. She was born Lone Dueholm on February 5th 1958 in Aalborg, Denmark. She was the daughter of Thorvald and Lillian Dueholm.

She came permanently to the US in 1987. She settled in the Los Angeles, California area originally where she worked as a Los Angeles police officer for a time. In about 1992 she moved to Sedona, Arizona and worked for many years at Shugrue’s Hillside Grill and the Oak Creek Brewery.

It was during this time she became a very gifted artist. She loved her ceramics. Her work was sold at galleries all over the Verde Valley area. Getting hooked on clay later in life created elegant and simplistic pieces. She was a volunteer for CASA for years. She was a strong and dynamic women. She was an actress, a model, an artist, a teacher, a Police Officer, a dog lover, a volunteer, a great server, and a great friend.

She is survived by her sister, Helle Dueholm of Denmark; her beloved canine, Koda, and many friends and associates.

Her service will be at 12 noon at the Reitz Ranch in Clarkdale on October 24th, service followed by a potluck.
