Corn Fest returns for 28th year

The 28th annual Corn Fest takes place in downtown Camp Verde on Saturday, July 16, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. this year.

Enjoy this one-day event featuring fresh roasted Hauser & Hauser corn in a street fair-type setting on Hollamon Street. Lots of other good eats with food trucks, beer served by the Verde Valley Rangers, live musical entertainment, plus vendors with all types of products for sale. New this year there will be a Homemade Salsa Contest with both traditional and non-traditional categories, as well as a Corny Joke Open Mic event at 5:15 p.m.

The Children’s Activity Garden will be open from noon to 5 p.m.

Registration for the AB Cornhole Tournament opens at 11 a.m. The first toss is at noon. Gates open at 11 a.m. with free admission and the fun continues until 7 p.m.
