Veterans Day fundraiser for SAVCO at DA Vines in Cottonwood
Kaleidoscope Redrocks is continuing their tradition of honoring and saluting American Military Veterans and Active Service Members on Friday, Nov. 11, 5-7 p.m. at the “new kid in town,” DA Vines Vineyard Wine Bar & Bistro in Old Town Cottonwood.
Multi-instrumentalist sister duo will be scaling down their set up to perform an acoustic show at the brand new stylish and quaint DA Vines located at 705 N. Main St., just as you enter Old Town serving delectable and delicious fare paired with wine featured from DA Vines Vineyard with most of the grapes grown along the banks of Oak Creek right here in Page Springs.
Gracie, 17, and Tivona, 13, will take you on a two-hour musical journey of primarily patriotic and Americana songs paying tribute to our brave men and women to thank our veterans and active duty personnel for their service and sacrifice to our great country.
All of your generous tips to Kaleidoscope Redrocks will be donated to SAVCO (Sedona Area Veteran & Community Outreach) of which they are members for their special programs.
You can learn more at savco.org. In addition, DA Vines owners John and Linda Rachel will be donating $200 to kick-off the SAVCO fundraiser.
Kaleidoscope Redrocks lends support to SUMC Outreach Missions
“We believe the holiday season really starts with Veterans Day on Nov. 11 because without their service and sacrifice along with their families, America would most definitely be a different country,” says Gracie and Tivona Moskoff, the sister duo of Kaleidoscope Redrocks.
They go on to say “We feel honored and blessed to lend our talent to pay tribute to those brave men and women who have served and whenever we see a veteran, we always thank them for their service.”
On Saturday, Nov. 12, noon-2 p.m., Kaleidoscope Redrocks will include patriotic songs during their show at Sedona United Methodist Church’s Holiday Boutique.
The multi-instrumentalist sister duo will also play music for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays with traditional and Christian songs, even including some originals that express their love and gratitude for the season.
So, while strolling through the beautiful variety of vendors offering their arts, crafts, food and other items, enjoy the moving and inspiring sounds of Gracie, 17, and Tivona, 13, “singing in harmonies only sisters can create” to start the holiday season with a smile and maybe even a tear of gratitude for our blessings.
All proceeds, including your generous tips to “The Ladies” will be donated to SUMC Outreach Missions to benefit the community.
