Letter: Support for Arena Del Loma owner

Editor:

I have lived in Camp Verde since 1981. Arena del Loma has always been a place for rodeos, bull bashes and other events, even including Colonel’s Daughters contest. For the people around Arena del Loma to be complaining, they should have known before they moved in there that it was a working arena.

I myself am a truck driver, and I’m appalled when people start complaining about having trucks in their neighborhood. This gentleman, Tanner Bryson, that is trying to bring Arena del Loma back up into its heritage should have the backing of everybody in Camp Verde. He should be able to put the RV spaces in so that he can be able to have the horse owners there on the property during events. I know a few people that own horses and they don’t want to leave their horses overnight at an arena and go somewhere else. Come on, people, it would be like you taking your dog on vacation and getting somewhere and have to leave your dog or your pet somewhere else while you go sleep in a motel.

Mr. Bryson, you have my full support. I hope you get Arena del Loma back in shape, back up and running and get those RV spaces like you’re asking. And for the town of Camp Verde and everybody in it, I hope you guys can see that Mr. Bryson is trying to do a very good thing for this town and bringing Arena del Loma back to its glory. Let’s get a backbone, Camp Verde, and support Mr Bryson.
