Come and enjoy a harmonious celebration with ‘A Cappella Syndicate’, a mob of talented men whose voices have brought fans to their feet all across Arizona and beyond. The performance begins at 3 p.m. at the Phillip England Center for the Performing Arts, located at 210 Camp Lincoln Road, Camp Verde.
The Syndicate performs a wonderful mix of fun and recognizable contemporary and traditional songs. With ear-tickling favorites from the Beach Boys to The Turtles and the Lettermen to Lorde, the Syndicate delivers an entertaining and unforgettable experience while delivering an amazing array of tight harmony and light-hearted comedic performance in true acapella style.
The Syndicate started as a relatively small group choosing to think of themselves as a large quartet. Having deep roots in the barbershop style of a cappella music, most of the men in the Syndicate have known each other for years and have welcomed several newcomers into the group to create the current ensemble.
Under the artistic direction of Gary Steinkamp and Brent Graham, A Cappella Syndicate has captured the hearts of vocal music lovers throughout Arizona and beyond. The ensemble has produced their own annual shows, Christmas shows, appeared as guest performers at several community events, including
‘A Cappella Del Sol’, an a cappella music festival hosted by the Syndicate.
A Cappella Syndicate is the current and five-time champion in the Arizona Division of the Barbershop
Harmony Society’s chorus competition. The Syndicate was among the top 20 choruses at the 2022 Barbershop Harmony Society International Chorus Contest, and was the recipient of the 2019 A Cappella Music Awards Barbershop Group of the Year.
A Cappella Syndicate believes that music is a universal language that brings people together from all walks of life. Their mission is to promote a cappella harmony through performance, education, and outreach, with special emphasis on youth.
