Highway Fire

The Copper Canyon Fire and Medical B Shift crew Monday, March 6, 2023, worked a semi fire on Interstate 17 southbound at milepost 282 in Copper Canyon. Crews were able to safely contain the fire to the trailer with no spread into the nearby brush. Department of Public Safety and Department of Transportation both assisted with keeping crews safe. The fire is currently under investigation.
