The Jerome Historical Society is renovating the head frame that sits over the Audrey Shaft of the Little Daisy Mine near Jerome. When the two-phase project is done, a museum will be created around the head frame.

Changes for Jerome's Audrey Headframe
The Jerome Historical Society began work Wednesday on Phase One of renovation to the historical Audrey Shaft Headframe on United Verde Extension (UVX) property adjacent to the Jerome State Historic Park. "It's the largest remaining head frame in Arizona," said Elissa Ballew, grant writer for the society.
