The historic Apache Maid Cabin built in 1908 has been restored thanks to the efforts of Friends of the Forest volunteers and will be rented to the public beginning next spring. Two local ranchers, Charlie Babbitt and Biscuit Bill Dickison, originally built it as a line cabin.
