Saturday Mountain Bike Ride
Join a couple of loosely organized, fun rides around the "Thumper Loop" to commemorate local rider Lee Gorby's 365th consecutive day riding the local loop. Lee (aka Whiskey Rider) has ridden through ice-cold rain and blazing heat, cloudy days and sunny, every single day since June 6, 2008.
It'll be a great chance to meet a few other riders, swap stories, and discuss the recent damage on the Thumper Trail, as well as the need for new single-track in Cottonwood.
Meet up at the Raptor Trailhead at the top of Roadrunner Road at Dead Horse Ranch State Park twice that day: 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. More info: (928) 301-1190.
