Running for three days, students in 7th-12th grade spent about two hours touring a variety of educational booths meant to increase their understanding of issues ranging from drug and alcohol abuse, teen pregnancy, body self image and better decision making. Teen Maze drew students from area schools, and staff from education, law enforcement and health services. The Boys and Girls Club and Yavapai College were also on hand to provide positive outlets for teens.Middle School students from Camp Verde were touring the Teen Maze on Wednesday morning. The educators did a great job of using props and examples that the students could relate to, making the program fun as well as instructional.
