Chili Cook-Off for Cornville
June 6
The Cornville Community Association announces a CASI-sanctioned Chili Cook-Off at Windmill Park in Cornville.  There will be two Chili divisions, all of it prepared on-site: People's Choice Chili includes whatever ingredients are usually found in your chili. Judging will be by the tasting public. Competition Red Chili is to be prepared from scratch, with no prepared mixes or marinades, and no fillers. A panel of tasters will judge the Red Chili entries.
The Cook-off is open to Chili Cooks of all ages for the people's choice chili, (competition Red chili cooks must be 18 to participate) and open to the public for tasting. The Entry Fee, payable the day of the event, for Competition Red Chili Cooks is $10, with checks made payable to YCS (Yavapai Chili Society). Cups and spoons will be provided to tasters, for a small fee. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cornville Community Association
There is no entry fee for tasters or People's Choice Chili Cooks.
