Photos by VVN/Jon PelletierFiesta del Tlaquepaque entered its 36th year of celebrating Mexican Independence Day with a mosaic of color, song, crafts and dance. Saturday's annual event took place among the majestic courtyards of Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village in Sedona. Traditional South of the Border dance troupes, musicians, artists and food vendors provided a full day of entertainment and enjoyment for all who attended. Classical and Flamenco guitarist Greg Reiter played with emotion during his performance on Saturday. Duo Flavio played an upbeat set that kept pace with the rhythm of the day. Mexican folk dancers Ballet Amistad Folklorico have been performing at the Fiesta for many years, a testament to their popularity with the audience. Mosaico Flamenco combined Spanish and South American musical influences with Flamenco dance to win over the crowd. Wandering Mariachis thrilled the audience with traditional Mexican folk music at Fiesta del Tlaquepaque.Click here to request any of these images as prints for purchase
