Clemenceau Museum opens Centennial exhibitMore than a year in the making, a special Centennial Exhibit, marking Arizona’s 100th year of Statehood, has opened in the main exhibition room of the Clemenceau Heritage Museum. It’s a time period that goes back to the horse and buggy era. Telephones and electricity were still new and radio, TV, computers, the Internet and smart phones not even dreamed of, to say nothing of jet planes and space travel. For a comprehensive view of Verde Valley life over the past 100 years, be sure to stop by the Museum. It’s open Fridays – Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday mornings from 9 to noon. The Clemenceau Heritage Museum is on the corner of Willard and Mingus in Cottonwood. Call 634-2868.
