Kellie Wilson, Old Town Mission Manager, staff and volunteers are getting ready for the busy holiday season and the community is responding. She displays some of the turkey dinner distribution food items that will be given to families-in-need on Tuesday, Nov. 22, so meals can be prepared at home. On Monday, Nov. 21, there will be a Flying High Turkey Drive at Fry’s in Cottonwood where people can donate turkeys, food items and donations. On Wednesday the mission is having their community Thanksgiving brunch from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The mission is closed on Thursday but they recommend a free Thanksgiving meal served at Georgie’s Café in Cottonwood from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. VVN/Vyto Starinskas
