Many Camp Verde wastewater customers were dumbfounded when the May 2018 sewer bills arrived. An increase had been rumored but why, we asked, had our rates jumped so high? As the dust settles, there are more questions than answers.

A note of thanks to my fellow Supervisor Randy Garrison!.Few people understand the time, energy and effort that it takes for an “Act of Congress” to actually occur. No wonder the phrase is often used when there is a large undertaking that is going to consume so much time.

In Dan Engler’s editorial about the forum it appears he does not understand the process. The Camp Verde Republican Forum will not repeat questions that Dan has already asked the candidates. These have been asked and answered. Nor is Dan likely to have any input into questions that are asked unless he submits question to; http://campverderepublicans.com/forum.html.

I just read the Sunday Camp Verde Bugle and was quite astonished to learn that ONE single candidate could have a scheduled program canceled because he was not comfortable attending. If this was truly the reason, all he had to do was not show up.

I have a novel idea. Why don’t we save a lot of time and money, and just give the job to the guy who’s already doing it, and doing it well, according to our town manager?

Your article on weed vs. guns reveals the absurdity of marijuana prohibition. Not only is the government’s understanding of marijuana and its users based on flawed premises, out-dated notions, and a lack of experience or understanding, but focusing on enforcing marijuana prohibition is a waste of money, manpower, and time.

In many ways, Bob, I feel your pain. While I think the former President left a great deal to be desired in many Presidential respects, he was, as you say, a quite admirable human being. To say that the present office holder is a radical departure from what we have been accustomed to is apparent to all. Some are happy about that, others not so much.
