I wish to extend my gratitude to the 12 volunteers who assisted on the Highway 260 cleanup on Saturday, August 18. These volunteers were: Jordan Ross, Kate Dusek, Gene Carrigan, Jay Thorkelson, David Nelson, Collene Maktineks, Chris Kinderman, Ralph Barksdale, Chuck Maiser, Cory Houghton, Allen Osthoff and Alex Gozden.

The stars seem to be aligning for a Democratic uptick in House seats, perhaps control of the House altogether.

What I really don’t get, though, is how you are so willing, eager, and able to ignore the fact that for nearly two centuries the United States of America has saved you time and time again, and/or paid for massive improvements in global commerce (e.g., Panama Canal) both regionally and worldwide.
