Cottonwood ’s new sidewalk policy goes before City Council
Five-foot pedestrian path required in proposal

Five feet is the minimum sidewalk clearance space required for pedestrians in front of any Cottonwood business, as written into a new ordinance that had its first reading Tuesday. The ordinance can be brought before council again as early as its June 16 meeting for a second and final reading. If approved by Council, it would go into effect immediately.
