Once again, I’ve been totally blown away by the residents of the Big Park/Village of Oak Creek Community.
We have in our Village a treasure. Led by President David Gill, the Sedona Village Partnership (SVP) recently again proved its value to our community.

When founded in 1997, the Big Park Council was meant to be useful to the residents of the Big Park/VOC area. For those of you who choose to partake of the information provided and subscribe to our blog, the Council remains useful to you. I wish to announce that we are now attempting to become indispensable for the rest of you. How?
After driving our new RV about 1,300 miles over three days to Portland, Oregon, with our four whippets in tow, hooking up the electricity, water, and sewer, unsuccessfully trying to get our fancy mobile wifi system going, and failing to get the large slideout to extend (especially important when you have 4 whippets on board), I’m tuckered out.
While I am not a regular reader of NextDoor, I did read with interest the recent long discussion thread about a proposed above-ground power transmission line that could pass down the Kel Fox trail.
It is with humility that I’m introducing myself as the new president of the Big Park Council (BPC), also known as the Big Park Regional Coordinating Council (BPRCC).
