United Verde Copper Company Hospital #2 was constructed on a quiet hillside above Main Street behind the T. F. Miller / Masonic Hall Building. Later, a new road (Clark Street) built on the west side of the hospital brought noisy traffic around the building. (Jerome Historical Society.)
